About Randy Thomason
The real estate bug hit me in College more than 40 years ago. I even bought that big one, the “Carlton Sheets” program while still in school. I did not know why or how but I knew that real estate was in my destiny. I already knew that more people became millionaires in real estate than any other way and that the richest people in the world moved their money to real estate after they made their fortunes in manufacturing, stocks, building companies, or any other way. They saw the tax advantages, security, and growth possibilities.
So how does that bring us to today, you ask?
It has been a slow but steady process for me. Learning about real estate investing was always a side of my normal business. It was always lurking and calling my name. I have worked for a Wall Street Company, built a family technology business and sold it, bought a small property management company, and grew it 6 times over in only 4 years before selling it. There, the lurking came to the forefront and in 2011 I was all in and a full-time investor.
I discovered in the process of my real estate education that the real service I was doing was helping people out with bad problems. I call it ‘POPS.” Property owners, problem-solving. For over 30 years I have been accumulating knowledge from the best investors all over the country. I now had the knowledge and a way to help people out of bad situations they find themselves in such as divorce, foreclosure, inheriting an unwanted house, bankruptcy, probate, job or military transfers, low equity, and realtor taking too long to sell, and many other things. By helping others in these bad situations, it has forced me to quickly build my company so I can help others.
